A technical mountaineering climb to Aguja Guillaumet (2,550m), one of the most emblematic granite spires of El Chaltén, approached via Piedra del Fraile with a bivouac at Piedra Negra. Three days is the base programme; the five-day option adds a preparation day in town and a weather backup day, and is the recommended one.
