Pedro Navarro, Mountain Guide

I grew up in Bariloche, at the foot of the Andes, where my parents filled my childhood with time outdoors until the mountains became part of who I am.

I trained as a physics teacher, but the mountains pulled harder. I have worked as an AAGM Alpine mountain guide for eight years, and today I split my life between Bariloche and El Chaltén, where most of my trips start.

Besides guiding, I am a photographer and filmmaker. These two passions meet in the mountains, where I get to travel through and capture the most beautiful peaks in the world: those of Patagonia. You can see my work at pedronavarroph.com.
